Jacob has a life long history as an entrepreneur mostly in the IT industry, Tim comes from the Medical and Chemistry fields. The two brothers were able to combine and Primer was born.

First sales were initiated by ThinkGeek.com. ThinkGeek.com is a multi million dollar company that has reported sales of $23.6 million in web revenue for the first half of fiscal 2008. In the first 12 hours of PRIMER going live, almost 130 individual units were sold at a online retail of $4.99 plus shipping cost.
